Learn How to make your hair work for you
“To become the better versions of ourselves, we must be willing to unlearn what no longer serves us and embrace new perspectives and possibilities.”
Henry Johnson Jr
Calling all beauty enthusiasts!! You follow many influencers, watch all of the tutorials, and yet you still have questions. Personal Hair Coaching is a virtual meeting, one-on-one, where you will meet with Donna Bell, master stylist, to have those questions answered.
- Have you ever left the salon with the most beautiful style, only to get home and not be able to achieve the same look, again? Stop wasting money on gadgets and products. I can help.
- Is your hair thinning? Don’t panic we can talk about the hair loss and find a way to thicker, fuller hair.
- What is the difference between gels and pomades? Not only can I teach you the difference, I can help you sort through the products that you currently have under your sink and show you how to customize them for your hair type.
- Are you tired of you hair color fading or your blondes discoloring? I can figure out a cause and solution.
This is not your fault! During your visit at the salon the time is spent to make you look and feel good. As stylists, we try to teach techniques and recommend the products that make your style look perfect. Inevitably we end up catching up on life during the past month, sharing recipes and favorite television shows, and, hopefully, deter conversations about politics and the world today. Then, when the service is over, the client walks out of the door, without any of the products that they need!
Now you find yourself at the local chain that carries every beauty product imaginable to man. You walk around the store feeling apprehensive, trying to remember which products your stylist recommended. Then a store clerk, who is not your personal stylist, asks if they can be of assistance. Before you know it you are at the checkout with an arm full of products, after all the clerk should be a licensed stylist, right? Maybe so, but the only one that knows your hair should be the only one you buy from.
After hours of shopping you get home and start reading all of the labels, trying to remember how to use each one and in what order. Then comes “hair wash day”. You are kind of excited to try all of the new things, surely your hair will look much better will all of these new products! You are now finished with styling, examining every angle in the mirror, only to realize that your hair still looks the same. All of those new products get tossed into the collection under the sink. I call this your “product graveyard”. Stop wasting money on more products! With personal hair coaching you will learn how to use those products the correct way, how to “cocktail” your products, and which products you should avoid.
Now let’s talk about the real elephant in the room. The world is going through many changes making most of us fearful of the future. As a beauty professional of well over three decades, I am used to riding the waves, as there are economic changes. Consider making a beauty budget for the year. That’s right, a Beauty Budget! I can teach you how to maximize your look, by spending less. Look, feeling good on the outside makes you feel good mentally, giving you a little more confidence in your step. Let’s say maybe the price tag of a color touch up is way out of reach. What if I could formulate a root touch up and teach you the proper application? What if you could learn about products to keep the color a little longer?
The Pandemic definitely seemed to be the beginning of this shift in the universe. Bringing with it not only economic disasters, but also long term illnesses. The CoVid variants came at us one after another, leaving us feel vulnerable and anxious.
One of the many side effects of CoVid is hair loss. Telogen effluvium, commonly referred to as thinning hair, can occur weeks after experiencing a stressor, such as an infection, pregnancy, psychological trauma, surgery, malnutrition, and certain medications. Although it may be very scary to start seeing less hair on your head, this type of hair loss will grow back over time. Have you been experiencing hair loss? Are you noticing major changes in the condition or your hair? Let’s talk.
Whenever clients experience significant changes in their hair, I recommend that they visit their general practitioner as soon as possible, as this could indicate a health issue going on inside of the body. While your hairstylist is not a medical professional, it is also important to schedule regular appointments not only for aesthetic purposes, but also to monitor any changes to the hair and scalp.
Imagine all of these answers, and more, at the tip of your finger, all from the comfort of your home. You have questions, I have answers. Schedule a personal hair coaching, today!! Remember, all you have to lose is 30 minutes, but what you have to gain, Priceless!!! Happy learning beautiful! xoxo
